Montini Pelletteria

A logo and identity refresh for an artisan leather goods company from Tuscany, designed to preserve the brand’s heritage while giving it a cleaner, more flexible visual presence.

“Since 1972, the artisan company Montini has offered its customers a quality experience, dressing men and women in both classic and sporty styles.”

Client

About the brand.

Montini is a small family business from Tuscany, Italy. For many years, the company has produced leather goods and sold them through retail and branded stores.

The hallmark of the brand is the high quality of its materials and the exclusive models of bags and clothing created for both women and men.

Design concept

Tradition with a modern line.

The main task was to transform the existing company logo into a more modern and recognizable visual identity while keeping the elegance and heritage of the brand.

The concept combines tradition and refinement with a contemporary sans-serif wordmark that balances thick and thin lines. The warm earth-toned colour palette was inspired by the natural landscape of Tuscany.

Solution

A flexible identity with recognizable details.

The final logo can be used as a refined wordmark on its own or combined with a monogram, where the letter M is framed inside a circle to create a compact icon.

This icon can also be adapted as a branded pattern, giving the identity more flexibility across bags, labels, signage, packaging and other brand applications.

Project note

A refreshed visual identity designed to bring new breath to the brand while preserving its Italian heritage and artisan character.
