packaging design
Packaging and label design involves creating the visual and tactile aspects of a product’s outer packaging. It combines graphic design, materials, and shapes to engage consumers, build brand identity, and influence purchasing decisions.
Are you aiming to launch a new product, shift to a higher price range, target a different audience, or just refresh your product’s appearance? Achieving these goals isn’t straightforward. Packaging and label design is a tailored solution that requires extensive research, meticulous planning, and adherence to various principles and rules. These efforts play a crucial role in your brand’s success.
How It Works
What are the steps to reach all goals to create a packaging design for your brand?
1. Client Brief
At this initial stage, we have a chat together (online or offline for local clients) and I create a detailed design brief specified for your business needs. A design brief is a document that outlines the core details of a design project. It serves as a roadmap for the project, ensuring that everyone involved understands the goals, scope, and constraints.
2. Market and competition analysis
I research market trends and best practices in your field, both locally and globally, to find ways to make the packaging design stand out.
3. Concept Creation and Discussing
How do you envision your packaging design? Do you prefer a minimalistic, vibrant, or sophisticated look? Should it include artwork? We’ll find a solution and style for your unique brand.
4. Design Approval
I refine the chosen concept, adapt it to real conditions, and add complexity. Then, we create a draft model of your packaging based on the provided information.
5. Preparation of Files for Print
I prepare all project files for printing, ensuring they meet the mandatory technical requirements. I recommend a colour-proof print to verify accurate colour reproduction, contrast, and readability of all label design elements.
6. Adaptation of Design
A product can be packaged in various ways. I can adjust the design to account for all technical details and prepare the files for printing.
