What are the main colours of the upcoming 2025 year?

According to the Pantone Fashion Colour Trend report, the trendy colors for the next season are natural, earthy colors, exotic bright pastels, and shades of natural green and blue. Overall, these colors convey a mood of optimism and individuality. Pantone color of the year 2025 is Mocha Mousse, a soft warming brown tone.

Other colour palettes that may be blended well with soft mocha are Cornflower Blue, Viola, Rose Tan, Willow, and Gardenia.

1. AI Design

In 2024, designers and agencies massively used idea generation with the help of artificial intelligence, but it seems that it is now being used more moderately, with smart prompts. Therefore, in 2025, this trend will definitely gain momentum. The key in this matter is the ethical use of such technology, where there is a clear distinction between handmade and AI-generated creations.

2. Handcrafted Design

The opposite of the previous trend, meaning the world is tired of everything digital and artificial. Therefore, designs created by human hands and living imagination will never be destroyed by artificial intelligence. The value of human creativity and the variability of thought allow for the creation of something more than templates and evoke genuine emotions in consumers. The trend toward personalization and attention to ecological and ethical consumption issues can significantly change the design market.

3. Audio in Digital Design

This trend is just beginning (or rather, making a comeback), and it’s a return to the time when websites used sound for a more interactive user experience. Imagine a website with the sound of ocean waves in the background or the rustling of leaves and birds singing while you shop. It looks like a potentially interesting idea.

4. Sustainability

Natural or recycled packaging materials, natural colours or even a complete rejection of them; a refusal of packaging (think LUSH, who use this very concept). The new is the long-forgotten old.

5. Minimalism

One of my favorite trends in design, which might sound paradoxical, is becoming maximalist. Large elements, plenty of space, or monochromatic design are the main characteristics of this style.
