logo & brand identity design
Logo design involves creating a visual representation of a brand, combining elements like colours, typography, shapes, and icons. It should be memorable, versatile, and instantly convey the brand’s identity and values. Brand identity design encompasses more than just a logo. It includes your purpose, vision, core values, brand personality, color palette, typography, graphics, imagery, icons, and unique brand voice across all messaging.
A well-crafted logo and brand identity design instantly highlight their distinct qualities against competitors. A trademark serves as a clear marker, enabling customers to quickly choose the product they trust. An easily identifiable logo, paired with a unique colour palette and fonts, must align with the brand’s core values, forming a cohesive graphic system across all corporate identity materials.
How It Works
What are the steps to reach all goals to create a logo design for your brand?
1. Client Brief
At this initial stage, we have a chat together (online or offline for local clients), and I create a detailed design brief specified for your business needs. A design brief is a document that outlines the core details of a design project. It serves as a roadmap for the project, ensuring that everyone involved understands the goals, scope, and constraints.
2. Competition Analysis
I run research on market trends and best practices in your field, both locally and globally, to find ways to make the logo stand out.
3. Concept Creation
I treat each project uniquely because logo design must be personal and distinct. This means every project needs different techniques and skills.
4. Presentation
I usually create a couple of solutions and present visuals that show how a new logo and concept could work within a real business environment.
5. Concept Decision. Revision
After discussing the concept, we might get ideas for small changes to the chosen logo. For example, someone might suggest trying a trendy colour. However, by this stage, the client usually has a solid and well-considered solution, so this step might not be necessary.
6. Assembling Deliverables
At this final stage, I get all the needed files ready for both print and web use. Your newly designed brand is now ready to be showcased to the world!
